Robert Dwyer, Anchorage Alaska Lawyer

Robert Dwyer is a U.S. Navy veteran who was born and raised in Sacramento, California.  For four years, Robert was a construction worker in northern California before joining the U.S. Navy in 2005.  With fourteen years in service, Robert served as a Navy Diver specializing in Naval Special Warfare, Naval Submarine forces, and Naval Surface forces, specializing in submarine rescue, and maintenance and repairs on Navy vessels.

Robert completed his bachelor’s degree at Thomas Edison University in 2015, and earned a master’s degree with honors in criminal justice from National University in 2019. Robert then attended California Western School of Law and earned his juris doctorate in 2022. After law school he and his family moved to Anchorage, following his dream of living in the last frontier and became an Assistant Municipal Prosecutor for the city of Anchorage.

As an Assistant Municipal Prosecutor, Robert prosecuted misdemeanor and traffic offenses. After a year and a half of prosecutorial experience working for the government, he became a welcomed member of The Law Office of Evan Barrickman. Robert endured a divorce and custody dispute and spent roughly 10 years as a single parent on active duty raising his three children as their primary caregiver for their entire lives.  

He understands the struggles of life and aggressively advocates for parents and their children. Robert has a unique knowledge of the complexities of family litigation, having gone through it himself.

Robert enjoys spending time with his lovely wife Raven and his three teenage children in the beautiful outdoors of Alaska.
